glór is a multi-disciplinary arts centre located in the heart of Ennis. Built at a cost of €8.5m, glór was the largest investment in the Arts in County Clare and hosts local, national and international music, theatre, talks, dance, film, comedy and visual arts events throughout the year.

In 2019, and in an exciting cultural development for the county, Clare County Council began work on a new County Library & Gallery to adjoin glór, creating a cultural complex that will strengthen Clare’s reputation as a cultural centre, as well as support economic and social activity in Ennis.

glór boasts an auditorium with a capacity of 485 and a studio space that can cater for up to 60 people.
