Supper Theatre 2017

Ennis Players will host their 32nd annual Supper Theatre in the Old Ground hotel from Tue 21st to Friday 24th November, nightly a 8pm. This year the two productions on offer are:

Select Accommodation by Cliff Wedgbury, directed by Helen Forde

               &

Semblance of Madness by John H. Newmeir, directed by Geraldine Greene

Set in London's East End in 1966, Select Accommodation sees student Pauline, newly arrived from the homecounties searching for a suitable place to stay. She reaches the Victorian home of landlady Ursula, wher Jack-of-all-trades Arthur shows her around acosy bedsit. Naive Pauline may be in for some surprises if she elects to take this accommodation.

Semblance of Madness is based in  apsychiatric hospital where three women meet for a therapeutic drama lesson. The lesson is carefully controlled to extract information regarding a gruesome murder. Each woman declares she is a trained psychiatrist and that the othe two are inmates.
