Ennis Players and Clare Youth Services Fundraiser

Sunday, June 23, 2013

Ennis Players will be staging a one-act play 'The Problem' by A.R. Gurney, Jr. in Glor on July 6th as part of an evening of music and drama, presented by Ennis Street Festival to raise funds for Clare Youth Service.

The play will be directed by Joe Varden and the cast includes Ailbhe McMahon and Aidan O'Gara. It's an hilarious comedy of sparkling wit, concerning the psychosis and mental perversions of a married couple. The wife reveals a shocking secret to her husband; little does she know that he has a few of his own.......

The evening, which will be hosted by Siomha Brock, will begin with the performance of 'The Problem', after which Siomha and her band will take to the stage alongside some very special guests.

There will be an after-show party at The Rowan Tree cafe where admission is free for all ticket holders.

Doors are at 8.00 p.m. and tickets are priced 15 euro with all proceeds going to Clare Youth Services.

Come along for what should be a great evening.
